We offer students the opportunity to participate in a wide range of activities each week, from free activities to tourism packages. In addition to activities offered directly through the school, we also work with an adventure tour company to offer a greater selection.
San Francisco has more restaurants than any other city in the USA, and is home to many theaters, music and dance companies, as well as world famous film festivals. Beyond San Francisco, the Bay Area offers spectacular scenery, as do Napa Valley, Monterey and Carmel, among other places. Students are expected to practice their English during school-sponsored activities. Several of these activities give students the chance to meet and talk with Americans.
We offer a wide range of activities and excursions to help you make the most of your time in San Francisco and California. You will have the opportunity to meet other students from all over the world and practise your English with them and with your teachers.
Regular activities include:
- Trips to the theatre or to a musical
- Film nights at the college
- San Francisco Bay Cruise
- Day trips to Alcatraz, Muir Woods, Sausalito and Napa Valley
- Weekend trips to Los Angeles, Yosemite, Monterrey and Lake Tahoe
