  • International Institute of Minnesota
    English for Work Project: Intensive 20-hour per week linguistic and cultural training for the American workplace is offered at no cost to refugees and immigrants on public assistance. English as a Second Language classes are offered to adults whose native language is not English and who wish to improve their skills in listening, speaking, reading, writing, or grammar. Both day and evening classes are offered at beginning through advanced levels.

  • Vietnamese Social Services of Minnesota
    VSS offers English classes at locations in both Minneapolis and St. Paul. The classes are tailored to fit individual needs. Our Functional Work English classes, for example, emphasize language skills for the workplace, incorporating job-specific and technical vocabulary. Regular English classes are offered at various skills levels, accommodating the needs of persons who know no English, as well as individuals who possess basic language skills, but would like to become more fluent.
