Enrollment Process. Apply Now!

The first step to enrolling is to complete an Application form as far in advance as possible. This will insure that there will be space available for you in your selected course and accommodations. Acceptance of last minute applications is subject to space availability.

Visas. Prospective students should consult their closest USAn Embassy. Prospective students will require a valid working holiday, three or six month tourist visa or a student visa. These are available from any USAn Embassy.

If you are studying 12 weeks or less, ask the USAn Embassy about a Tourist Visa. If you are under 30 and your country has an agreement with USA, you can apply for a Working Holiday Visa. If you choose to study full time for more than 12 weeks, you must apply for a Student Visa. Please see www.immi.gov.au/students.

Minimum age is 18 years of age.

How to apply?

You need to complete and return the Application. A non-refundable application fee of US$150, course registration fee of $100 and a tuition deposit of US$200.00 are required with your application. The tuition deposit is part of the cost of your course and is deducted from the total tuition fees. The tuition deposit is not an additional cost. Please note that your application will be considered only when your payment of the application fee and the tuition deposit has been received.

You may apply online via our secure online application form or you can print out a printable application form, complete it and send by mail or fax to the Enrollment Center. You will find links to both forms below:

  1. Online Secure Application Form. You may apply online if you pay the application and registration fees and the tuition deposit by credit card. We accept VISA and MasterCard. In our Online Secure Form, we utilize the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) authentication and RC4 128 bit encryption technology. SSL encryption protects information being transmitted across the internet to our processing center.

  2. Printable Application Form: Click here to access a printable Application Form, print it out from your browser, complete the form and send it by fax or mail to the IPSA Enrollment Center. Using this printable application form, you can make your payment of the application fee and the tuition deposit by credit card, wire transfer and money order.

Upon receiving your application and required payments, we will send you an e-mail (or fax) confirmation and invoice within four to five business days. The confirmation will contain the details of your course and all pertinent costs. The invoice will be issued in USAn Dollars. You can make a payment in U.S. Dollars or in Euros according to the current exchange rates. The payment of the balance of fees is due upon receipt of invoice. Your place will be confirmed only when the full payment has been received. Once we receive your full payment, you will be sent a certificate of enrolment for visa purposes and your housing confirmation.

You may pay the balance by wire transfer, check or money order, or by credit card. We accept Visa and Mastercard. We will send you payment options and details in the registration confirmation.

Other Terms and Conditions.

Arrival and Departure Dates

We recommend that you arrive the day prior to the start of your course and leave the day following your last class. However, if necessary we can usually arrange a few extra days with your host family before or after your course.

Student Behavior

It is understood that any participate in a our program will obey the laws of the host country. This of course forbids the use of illegal drugs and alcohol consumption by minors. Students are expected to be courteous and respectful at all times and abusive behavior will not be tolerated. The School reserves the right to expel (without refund) any student whose behavior violates the school's policies or those of special program providers, tour operators, etc. Furthermore, any expenses incurred by the IPSA and school in terminating the program of a student who violates the policies and rules of conduct will be the responsibility of the participant.

Insurance

Participants are asked to check their personal insurance protection as they are not automatically insured by the school against illness, accident, theft, personal liability, etc. We can provide our clients with the services of an international insurer (on request).

Accommodation:

The school offers Housing assistance services with the sole intention of facilitating the student's study abroad experience. Students can make their own accommodation arrangements if they wish.

Postponement of Courses

The office must receive written notification at least 14 days before your course begins in order to transfer your reservation to a later course date.

Cancellation Policy

Program Cancellation before the course starting date:

Cancellation fees are charged as follows, and any balance is refunded less non-refundable items and bank fees and payment processing charges (if any). Any refunds will be made within 30 days of cancellation notification.

Cancellations received:

  • 30 or more days before the course begins: cancellation fee in the amount of the tuition deposit;
  • 20 or more days, but less than 30 days before the course starting date:
    cancellation fee in the amount of tuition deposit + 30% of the program fees;
  • more than 7, but less than 20 days before the course starting date:
    cancellation fee in the amount of tuition deposit + 50% of the program fees;
  • There is no refund if the cancellation received 7 or less days before the course starting date.

  • Students who do not obtain a visa, will be refunded the complete amount paid less non-refundable items (application fee, international courier service and bank charges if any) and administration fee in the amount of the tuition deposit, if they inform the office in writing no later than 21 days before the program starts. The student also must return to the Enrollment Center the official Letter of Acceptance and the denial letter from the English Embassy (Consulate).

In no case money will be refunded once the course and/or lodging has started. No refund can be given for partial attendance or the discontinuance or interruption of a course.

Force Majeure.

It is a basic stipulation of the agreement/contract between students and IPSA or consortium member schools or representatives, that neither IPSA, nor any of its member schools or representatives, is liable to the students in cases where IPSA or the school is unable to fulfill any services to which they are contractually bound because of labor disputes or other reasons beyond their control.
