Program Overview and Requirements
The school offers international teachers and teachers-in-training the opportunity to study English and experience and American education in person through volunteering at an American elementary or high school.
English program:
Students will participate in our 15-hour Intensive English program. The Intensive English program is designed to improve all areas of the English language including reading, writing, listening, speaking, vocabulary, pronunciation, idioms, etc. The program will be offered at different levels (beginning through advanced). In addition to our academic programs, school offers social, recreational, and cultural activities on a regular basis.
Teacher assistant Volunteering:
At the same time, program participants will join classes at a local school and will gain practical experiences in a real classroom situation. Participants will be involved in classroom activities and instruction as an assistant to the American teacher.
